The proprietor of Beyond Limits Football Academy, Hon Kunle Soname has called for a regular coaching education as a way to improve football leagues in Nigeria.

Hon. Soname gave the advice at the just concluded Nigeria National League Clubs Coaches and Media Managers Workshop held at Remo Stars Sports Centre, Ikenne.

He said leagues in Nigeria need a deliberate and consistent education of the coaches for an improvement that meets global standards adding that football should go beyond points to attract investors.

“Any coach that is not willing to learn to add to what he has is not serious and ready to grow. Continuous education will impact their performance going forward. Football should go beyond points to attract investors “.

“With proper coaching methodology, we will get to where we need to be. We can bring in resource persons if we can’t send our coaches out. If you want to win, train coaches to develop football in a structured manner”.
