An aspirant for Anambra State House of Assembly, Awka South Constituency 1, Obinna Henry Oguguo, popularly known as OkpataOzuora, has urged eligible voters in the constituency to ensure they collect their Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs.
INEC has announced that nationwide collection of PVCs will commence on 9th October, 2026.
In a voter sensitization poster released by his media team, OkpataOzuora Media, the House of Assembly hopeful called on Ndi Awka South and Nigerians at large to take advantage of the exercise ahead of the 2027 general elections.
According to him, the PVC remains the only weapon for citizens to choose credible leaders and secure their future.
He said: “Your PVC is your voice, your power and your future. I am appealing to all my brothers and sisters in Awka South Constituency 1 and beyond, please ensure you collect your PVC when INEC begins distribution on October 9th. Tell your family, tell your friends, tell your neighbours.”
“No PVC, no voting. If we must enthrone good governance and bring the new voice our people are yearning for, we must be ready to vote. That journey starts with collecting your voter card,” he added.
Obinna Henry Oguguo is contesting for the Awka South 1 seat in the Anambra State House of Assembly under the banner, A New Voice Is Here, with a promise of youth-driven and people-oriented representation.
