Barr. Elo Adhekpukoli, a leading senatorial aspirant for Delta South under the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has funded the establishment of party secretariats in Isoko South and Warri North Local Government Areas.
The legal practitioner and sports philanthropist said the move is aimed at strengthening party structure and administration in two of the eight LGAs that make up the senatorial district.
Party chairmen in both councils welcomed the gesture. Dr. Clarke Mejebi, Chairman of NDC Warri North LGA, and Chief Commander Samuel, Chairman of NDC Isoko South LGA, said the new secretariats would improve grassroots coordination and party operations.
Barr. Adhekpukoli is one of the prominent aspirants seeking the NDC ticket for Delta South ahead of the next senatorial election.
