The Spiritual Director of the Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry Uke, Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Chibuzo Obimma, popularly known as Fr. Ebube Muonso has received an award of excellence as ‘Distinguished Charismatic Cleric’ from the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, Anambra State Chapter.

The award was presented during a courtesy visit at the Blessed Iwene Tansi Catholic Church, Umudioka, Dunukofia Council Area which coincided with the Fathers’ Sunday Celebration at the parish.

Presenting the award, the Chairperson of the State Chapter of NAWOJ, Comrade Tochukwu Ifejika described Rev. Fr. Obimma as a servant of God whose service to God and humanity have been transforming lives and winning souls for Christ.

Comrade Ifejika stated that the Union adopted Rev. Fr. Obimma as their Spiritual Father for his charism, courage, humility and commitment in using his personal resources to touch lives, urging him not to relent.

Responding, Fr. Ebube Muonso appreciated the award and promised to hold NAWOJ members in prayers, while charging them to be objective in discharging their duties of disseminating news and information to the public.

Earlier in his Fathers’ Sunday message, Fr. Ebube Muonso noted that God created the man to be in charge of the family, adding that the fathers with their God-given powers as fathers, husbands, kings, and prophets should protect their home, show unconditional love to their wives, take responsibility, provide for their family and pray without seizing.

While interacting with the female journalists after the Mass, Fr. Obimma decried the systematic failure in Nigeria which he attributed to poor leadership adding Peter Obi is the only person that can rebuild Nigeria judging by his antecedents.

On the spate of insecurity in different parts of Nigeria, the cleric called on the leaders at all levels to put more efforts in the security of lives and properties of citizens while commending Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo for his courage in combating insecurity in Anambra State.
