In the spirit of the festive season and the birth of Christ, Enyimba FC embarked on a heartwarming Christmas celebration with orphanage homes in Aba.

Led by the club’s Chairman, Amb Kanu ‘Papilo’ Nwankwo, the players and management staff visited three motherless homes, including Father Basil Motherless Home, Seventh Day Adventist Motherless Home, and Joyrita Motherless International Foundation Abayi, Aba.

The team brought various food items and confectionaries to boost the children’s welfare. In a special message, the Chairman, Board members, and the entire team expressed their commitment to giving back to the community.

Through the club’s Media Head, Orji Sampson, Amb Nwankwo’s humanitarian gesture was highlighted, emphasizing the club’s social responsibility to reach out to the less privileged.

The orphanage homes’ management expressed their gratitude for the kind gesture. Mr Godwin Chima, Manager of Joyrita Motherless International Foundation, Mrs Joyce Chibuike, Nurse-in-charge of the SDA home, and the Matron-in-charge of Father Basil Home, all praised Enyimba FC’s humanitarian efforts, praying for the club’s continued success and prosperity.

This charitable act is a recurring ritual for Enyimba FC, especially during special occasions like Christmas, reflecting the club’s commitment to community outreach and social responsibility
