Nasarawa United FC have unveiled their new jerseys for the 2025/26 NPFL season.
The unveiling ritual took place in a low-key ceremony at the official residence of Nasarawa State Acting Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe, on Friday evening.
Chairman of the club, Solomon Babanjah proudly presented the new kits before the Acting Governor and Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Kwanta Yakubu, in Lafia.
The newly designed kits by reputable China-based sports company, Elite King Sports Limited, owned by former Nigerian junior international, Tunde Seun Olokigbe ‘Elite’, with branches in Nigeria and across the world, showcase a perfect blend of style, comfort, and team spirit.
With vibrant colours and sleek designs, the jerseys which come in six separate designs for home, away and neutral usages, are sure to make a statement on the pitch and boost team spirit and performance in the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
Nasarawa United’s Chairman, Solomon Babanjah, joined by fellow Board Member and Director of Media, Mr. Eche Amos, expressed his excitement about the new kits, highlighting how they reflect the club’s identity and values.
The State’s Acting Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe, praised the team’s efforts and expressed his best wishes for the 2025/26 NPFL campaign which began on Friday, 22nd August, 2025.
Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Kwanta Yakubu, who led the delegation to the residence of the Acting Governor, said the approval of the kits by the Acting Governor underscored the priority placed on sports development by the current administration of Engr. Abdullahi Sule and the potential for the Solid Miners to make a positive impact in the elite domestic league.
He noted that the new kits would certainly boost the enthusiasm of the team as they take to the pitch next Wednesday against Niger Tornadoes in a rescheduled match-day one fixture of the 2025/26 league season at the Kwara State Stadium, Ilorin, Kwara State.
The Solid Miners are currently in closed camping in Abuja from where they would proceed to Ilorin for the North Central Zonal derby clash by 4pm.
