Mike Itemuagbor Joins NPFL As Special Marketing Advisor To Boost Sponsorship

Renowned sports marketing expert Mike Itemuagbor has been appointed Special Advisor to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) board, bringing over three decades of experience to strengthen the league’s financial foundation.

Itemuagbor, founder of Padmozi Sports Marketing (PSM), was personally invited by NPFL Chairman Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye to leverage his vast network in corporate Nigeria and attract sponsorships.

The Padmozi CEO has Over 30 years of sports marketing expertise, working with the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN).

He was Instrumental in securing major sponsorship deals, including Globacom’s sponsorship of national teams and the former Nigeria Premier League.

He Successfully founded and promoted the international athletics event Okpekpe Race, attracting top long-distance runners worldwide

In a notable gesture, Itemuagbor will provide his services pro bono, underscoring his commitment to Nigerian football development.

NPFL Chairman Hon. Gbenga Elegbeleye expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting Itemuagbor’s valuable contribution to the league’s growth.
