Khun Khalifat pulled off a stunning upset, defeating tournament favorites Enyimba Football Club in a thrilling match at the ongoing 7th Ifeanyi Ekwueme Tico Select preseason tournament at the Aba Centre.

Coach Chinedu Okonkwo expressed immense joy and satisfaction after the win, praising his team’s determination and strategy.

“We came all out today, unlike other times. We came out with our players, and we expected the results which we had, and hopefully we got it.”

The victory marks a significant milestone for Khun Khalifat, boosting their confidence and morale. The technical Crew led by Obinna Anyanwu’s leadership and tactics were instrumental in the team’s success, and their next match against Heartland is highly anticipated.

The win has sent shockwaves through the tournament. As the competition heats up, all eyes will be on the team to see if they can sustain their winning momentum.

The NPFL new entrants defeated Enyimba 3-1
