...Anambra Stakeholders Adopt Nwosu As Coalition Guber Candidate

By Chuks Collins

Patriotic critical stakeholders of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and other political actors under the aegis of Anambra Coalition Stakeholders Forum drawn from the 21 Councils and 326 electoral Wards of Anambra State have adopted the coalition moves of its national leadership.

The Forum also adopted the choice of Chief John Nwosu as its governorship candidate for the Nov 8,2025 poll in Anambra State.

Stakeholders led by the party’s national chairman, Chief Ralphs Okey Nwosu this afternoon brainstormed on the political climate of the nation and the way forward.

They commended it’s leadership for the initiative of a national coalition at this point in the nation’s political development, stressing that only such would galvanize all the incensed and restive sectors, zones and peoples.

While adopting the resolution at the end of its meeting in Awka late Friday afternoon, the well-attended forum session expressed satisfaction that ADC was piloting the coalition compass of the anticipated new political movement.

Chief Nwosu in his remarks pointed out that what’s playing out now was result of above twenty years painstaking hardwork and sleepless nights.

He disclosed that former President Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has expressed confidence and played invaluable legwork in anchoring the emerging political structure and for it to be rested in ADC, as a political party with a difference.

Just like the ex-President’s views, the Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, Chief Nwosu disclosed was keen to see the coalition galvanized to fruition under ADC. That it’s what Nigeria needs now.

While commending the Anambra Stakeholders for being alive to the Coalition dreams, Nwosu thanked them for their doggedness.

ADC governorship candidate, John Nwosu expressed high confidence in his victory at the coming Nov 8, 2025 poll.

He dropped 7-key points of his campaign focus with which to turn things around for the state and the citizens.

The Forum nominated a former Speaker of the Anambra State Assembly, Barr BenChuks Nwosu as chairman who signed the communique and Prof (Mrs) Zelunjo Igweze as Secretary
