The Global Youth Forum (GYF) and United Nations Football For The Goals (FFTG) celebrated the 101st World Football Day with a thrilling two-day tournament at the University of Nairobi.
Twenty two teams battled it out, with 44 Bulldogs FC emerging as men’s champions and Mukuru Talent FC as women’s champions.
Under the guidance of Mr. Murimi Karani, ACC’s Kenya Chapter Coordinator, 44 Bulldogs FC showcased exceptional skill, teamwork, and determination.
Mr. Karani while speaking, attributed their success to the tactical support offered by ACC, saying, “The boys played their heart out and stuck to our game plan.”
ACC’s Founder and President, Coach Eldred Sunju-Abbey, praised Mr. Karani’s achievement.
“Mr. Karani’s achievement is a testament to his hard work and dedication, as well as ACC’s commitment to growing and improving African football. Mr. Karani’s win is a shining example of the impact ACC leaders and members can have on African football”.
The tournament also featured the launch of GYF’s Priceless Ball campaign and the announcement of the inaugural Inter-County Football for the Goals Championship. ACC remains dedicated to empowering African football coaches and professionals, promoting grassroots development, and driving innovation in the sport.
Kudos to Mr. Murimi Karani and the entire 44 Bulldogs FC team on this remarkable achievement!
