Solution FC lethal forward, Valentine Ugwu has made the Nigeria National League (NNL) Sportslight hub Match Day 12 Team of the Week (TOTW).

The young and promising forward made his presence felt in the game against Osun United with his marauding runs and constant goalmouth threats which eventually translated to his equalizing goal in the 90th minute for Solution FC as they played out a 1-1 draw against Osun United on Sunday, 6th April, 2025 at the Awka City Stadium in one of the match day 12 fixtures and coincidentally, the first match of the Solution Boys for the second stanza of the ongoing 2024/25 NNL season.

This is the third time in the current season that Ugwu will be featured in the Match Day TOTW list, the forward who is commonly addressed by his teammates as the ‘English Man’ owing to his conduct and spoken Queens’ English first made the TOTW list on Match Day 5 scoring his first goal of the season in the 62nd minute against Gateway United FC in his club’s 3-2 away victory in Ilaro, Ogun State played on Saturday, January 11th, 2025.

Ugwu also made the Match Day 8 TOTW by scoring the first goal in the 3rd minute of Solution FC’s 4-1 win over Madiba FC played at the Awka City Stadium on Saturday, January 29th, 2025.

Another player of Solution FC who has made the NNL Sportslight hub Match Day TOTW is midfield maestro, Romanus Chinonso who featured in the Match Day 6 Team of the Week after his colourful display and eye-catching performance in the 2-0 win against Kun Khalifat FC played at the Awka City Stadium on Saturday, January 18th, 2025.

Ugwu is part of the team contingent that travelled to Uyo on Thursday to honour the match day 13 fixture against God’swill Akpabio FC scheduled to hold on Friday, 11th April, 2025 at the Uyo Township Stadium, Akwa Ibom State.
