Solution FC on Wednesday, 2nd April, 2025 defeated Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) club, Lobi Stars by 2 goals to 1 to progress into the Round 16 of the ongoing 2025 President Federation Cup.

The match which was played at the Enyimba Stadium Aba, Abia State saw the Anambra Government owned club taking the lead in the 53rd minute through Chukwuemeka Oyieke’s beautiful finish assisted by Christian Ahamefula.

Lobi Stars restored parity through Alexander Oche in the 75th minute with a belter which Solution FC goalkeeper, Chinedu Nwabueze had no answer to as the complexion of the game changed in what was a nervy ending for both sides.

Solution FC who stole the show with a solid display in all departments of the game would however get their reward as 7 minutes to the end, Chizoba Amaefule sent the Benue team shot stopper, Emmanuel Daniel, the wrong way to convert from the spot after Solomon Kwambe hitherto harked down Chukwuemeka Oyieke inside the box.

Solution FC will face Kwara United in the next round of the competition but before then, they will begin their second stanza of the 2024/25 NNL adventure when they host Osun United FC at the Awka City Stadium on Sunday, 6th April, 2025.
