In accordance to its guidelines, the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) has invited board members, Chairmen of 36 States and FCT Athletics Associations to its Congress in Yanegoa, Bayelsa State.
The Strategic Congress which will hold April 9th -10th will discuss teething national issues and the way forward.
According to AFN, the meetings will open at 10am at the Mini Conference Hall, Golden Tulip, Onopa Yenagoa.
Arrival have been confirmed for 9th as deliberations begins on the 10th.
AFN leadership, it was learnt will also use the occasion to address issues concerning rescheduled competitions, athletes welfare and soon coming elections.
The last AFN Congress was held in Asaba, Delta State where Congress approved Asaba as venue for election as well the federation’s annual calendar of activities.
