Anambra Police Command Decorates Over 100 Officers

It was a moment of joy and jubilation at police command Headquarters Amawbia Anambra State today as 110 Police officers were decorated with their new ranks.

Those decorated were 20 superintendent of police, who were promoted to Chief superintendent of police, 24 Deputy superintendent of police were promoted to superintendent of police, while 66 Assistant superintendent of police were promoted Deputy superintendent of police.

In his own speech, the commissioner of police, Nnaghe Obono ltam said that the newly promoted officers are expected to live above the rank.He also urged them to use the rank very well to discipline other people.

The commissioner who was ably represented by deputy commissioner of police Fidelis Ogarabe , said that the promotion was signed by police service commission and urged those who were not promoted yet to pray in-order to be promoted , noting that promotion is by God.

In his vote of thanks, the deputy police officer in-charge of Neni Division CSP Andy Jokpeyibo thanked everyone that graced the occasion, especially the commissioner , saying that by the grace of God they are going to do more on the next rank.
