The Chairman of Anambra State Football Association, Chief Chikelue Iloenyosi has sent words of felicitations to the NFF President, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau on the success of his election as the 1st Vice President of West African Football Union (WAFU B).

According to Chief Iloenyosi, this is a deserved position as Gusua has shown capacity in championing football development at the grassroots in the country.

“I want to congratulate my Boss, Alhaji Gusau as he is elected the first Vice President of WAFU B. This is a testament to how his personality and the good work he has been doing in the Nigerian Football Federation has given him recognition in the Region. I strongly believe with Gusua there that WAFU B football will grow in leaps and bounds. I wish him luck in this new position.”

The election took place in Niamey, Niger Republic. The WAFU B zone is made up of seven countries, Nigeria, Togo, Benin Republic, Ghana, Burkina Faso, Niger Republic and Cote d’Ivoire.
