Stand-in Coach of Remo Stars, Suleiman Folarin has said that his team always get good results in Aba against Enyimba Football Club because of the pitch.

Speaking to journalists after his side held the Aba Millionaires to a barren draw, coach Folarin said his boys played with the same freedom they enjoy at home in their own pitch.

“Let me tell you what is working for us against Enyimba in this away match is just that we have very good pitch here. Remo Stars can never miss on any good pitch like this, its not possible. This is a very good pitch, it feels like our own pitch exactly”,

“So, anytime we play here it feels like we’re at home. The good pitch is what is giving us good results here. Give us a good field anywhere in Nigeria and we will beat anybody I can assure you that”‘, he said

Speaking of the weekend encounter against Enyimba, coach Folarin said It was a very good game from both sides, “we saw good football today. Enyimba came out well to play and we also came out well to play. You see we didn’t come to defend. The last match we lost here was six or seven matches ago so we felt we could win the game so it was a very good game from both sides. We’re unlucky in winning the match”.

He said his boys played according to plan, “There’s nothing I would have done differently today, this is the game plan. We knew very well if we pressed their goalkeeper they can play. If you notice we didn’t press their goalkeeper at all. We pick them one on one, if the goalkeeper plays we make sure we get the first ball and the second ball, we did that perfectly”.
