The Acting Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Professor Carol Arinze-Umobi has appointed Professor Makodi Biereenu Nnabugwu as the new Dean of Student Affairs.
Prof. Biereenu-Nnabugwu is a scholar who majors in political theory and methodology of political inquiry in the field of Political Sciences.
Before this time, Prof. Biereenu-Nnabugwu has served as Head, Department of Political Sciences and Director, Ekwueme Centre for Multidisciplinary Research and Institute of Peace, Security and Development.
Prof. Biereenu-Nnabugwu was also the 102 Inaugural Lecturer of the institution.
The new Dean of Student Affairs who replaces Engr. Prof. Chinonso Achebe will work with Dr. Chibueze Onwuzuligbo, who was also appointed as the new Sub-Dean of the Student Affairs’ Unit.
Dr. Onwuzuligbo is a scholar from the Department of Surveying and Geoinformatics.
