The Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), Nnamdi Azikiwe University (UNIZIK) Awka branch has been rated as the best union in the South East Geopolitical zone and fourth best in the land amongst the Union’s branches in Nigerian Federal Universities.
This disclosure was made by the Centre for Ethics and Self Value Orientation (CESVO) when the Non-governmental organization honoured the Union’s branch Chairperson, Comrade Njideka Nwangwu with an Award of Ethics and Conscience (AEC) on Wednesday, 24th July 2024 at the Conference Room of the College of Post Graduate Studies (CPGS) UNIZIK.
The Executive Director of CESVO, Ethicist (Prince) Salih Musa Yakubu informed that from their investigations, reviews and findings, SSANU UNIZIK Branch is enlisted among the top 10 highly rated most ethically responsible and corrupt free branch of the Union in Nigeria Federal Universities genuinely committed to quality citizen’s service deliveries and members welfare.
According to Prince Yakubu, the Union scored 74 percent in the Cumulative Corporate Scores and with the Corporate Ethical Award Conferment, the Union is hereby recommended to any Government Agency, Corporate Organizations, Financial Institutions and individuals wishing to transact legitimate business with the body within and outside Nigeria.
The Centre for Ethics and Self Value Orientation is an International Anti Corruption Non-governmental organization (NGO) majored in exposing corruption, promoting ethical leadership, providing ethical education and value orientation of global citizens.
