Chairman, Best Talent Football Club of Mowe has revealed reasons why he brought the Mega Scouting Programme to Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
The ex player who was also a product of grassroots football development in the state before he jetted out of the shore of Nigeria disclosed this while fielding questions from newsmen in at the Mega Scouting programme organized by Shino Sport and Kontinental Management programme taking place at University of Ibadan Sports Complex, Awo.
He said the desire to give back to the society that made him was the reason why he chose the pace Setter State. He added that spotting budding talents that littered the state without definte direction with a view to turning them to gold informs his decision.
Speaking with journalists, the soft spoken administrator noted that getting the players out of dungeon just like himself during his heydays inspired him. He said he’s on a mission to get the scouted talented players in the programme a better deal in Europe , adding that he’s expected those players too to replicate same to the upcoming talents in time soon. In.his words:
“I sincerely wish to appreciate the government of Oyo State ably led by His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde, Oyo State Football Association under the able leadership of HRM James Odeniran and the good people of the state for the hospitality given to us since the commencement of the Scouting Programme. The state is truly a pace setter in terms of peace and love given to the foreign scouts”
“Sincerely speaking, a lot of talents are in this state without direction and this is the state that made someone like me. I started my career here before I left the shore of Nigeria and I consider it a great deal of accomplishments to build more talents and give them optimum visibility and career success in the nearest future.”
Adeyemo added that : “The scouts we brought from Europe appreciate the talents they see here and we hope by the special grace of God the selected ones will meet the standard requirements in Europe and get good transfer.
“I thank the Almighty God for the success of this programme. The grace to start and ends well . The weather is friendly with a congenial atmosphere throughout the days. My profound appreciation also goes to Shino Sport and Kontinental Management. He has been a great help. Each and every one of you too, the Management staff, Coaching crew, medical team, and media. You guys are all superb”. He enthusiastically concluded.
