“As we mark the beginning of a new chapter in our LGA, we will focus on enhancing infrastructural development; improving healthcare and Primary Education; Promoting economic growth and job creation; Promoting our environment and conservation; Fostering community engagement and Stakeholder participation; Improving Local Security.

“I will work tirelessly to ensure transparency, accountability and good governance. Our doors are open to suggestions, ideas and feedback because our vision and priorities are anchored on the Four Major Pillars of Mr Governor’s Solution agenda viz a viz : Economic Transformation; Social Agenda; Governance,Rule of Law and Value System; and Environment,” said Nkwoka.

“Accountability will be my watch-ward. No misappropriation, mismanagement or misapplication of funds will be condoned under my watch. Every penny of INLGA will be administered in line with set purpose”.

“To improve trust, administrative transparency and confidence in leadership, I will ensure synergy of all major institutions such as appointed Councillors, former councillors,Igwes-in-Councils, Anambra State Association of Towns Union (ASATU) Presidents General, ASATU Community Women Leaders and Youth Wings of the 10 communities, National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Christian Wings, Market Union Leaders, Business Communities among other major stakeholders within INLGA”, Nkwoka said.

The Idemili South Chairman who was a former SSA to Gov on Environment said that with his 17 years as an environment practitioner sanitation and environmental health will not be a herculean task for him.

Just as in the  80’s  Environmental health officers will be super activated to move from one point to the other to enforce cleanliness”.

“On Education, In line with Mr. Governor’s free education program for pupils of Primary 1 to students in Junior Secondary school 3, no child of that school age would be seen roaming the streets or hawking during school hours. We shall motivate teachers by engaging our people to provide free accomodations as we ensure posting of experienced teachers to INLGA”,he said.
