Enyimba Sporting Director, Ekwueme Salutes Abia Deputy Governor On One Year In Office

Former Nigerian international and Sporting Director of Enyimba Football Club, Ifeanyi Ekwueme, has congratulated the Deputy Governor of Abia State, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu, on his one year anniversary in office.

In a statement released on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, Ekwueme praised the deputy governor’s dedication to the development of Abia State and his unwavering support for the state’s sports sector.

“On behalf of the management, players, and staff of Enyimba Football Club, I extend my warmest congratulations to the Deputy Governor, Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu, on his one year anniversary in office,” Ekwueme said.

“Your commitment to the growth and progress of Abia State is evident in the numerous achievements of the past year, and we are grateful for your continued support of our club and the sports community in general.”

Ekwueme acknowledged the deputy governor’s role in promoting sports development in Abia State which has made it become a hub for football activities in the region.

“We are proud to have a deputy governor who understands the importance of sports in promoting youth development, unity, and national pride,” Ekwueme added.

“We look forward to continued collaboration and support from your office as we strive to make Enyimba FC a symbol of excellence in Nigerian football.”
