End Of Tenure: UNIZIK Faculty Of Social Sciences To Hold Valedictory Board meeting For Prof Esimone

The Faculty of Social Sciences, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka is set to hold a special board meeting in the form of a valedictory meeting in honour of the outgoing 6th substantive Vice-Chancellor of UNIZIK, Prof. Charles Esimone.

According to a release made available by the Secretary and Faculty Administrative Officer (FAO), Mrs Ifeoma Umenze, the 69th Board meeting will hold today Tuesday, 14th May 2024 at the Faculty Conference Hall.

The Board meeting will resume proceedings by 10.30am on Faculty matters while the Vice-Chancellor’s Valedictory meeting and commissioning of the new Faculty Solar Energy Project will hold by 1pm.

The Faculty expects every member of staff to be in attendance as it bids the Vice-Chancellor a farewell.

Prof. Esimone’s tenure will end on the 3rd of June 2024 while a new Acting Vice-Chancellor will assume duty on 4th June 2024.
