SEUGA 2024: ESUT Trounce UNIZIK 3-0 In Volleyball

The host of the ongoing South East University Games, Nnamdi Azikiwe University took off on a poor note in the male category of Volleyball event as they were humbled 3-0 by Enugu State University of Technology in the first game of the day.

It was a smooth ride for the Coal City boys who handed the homers 25-17, 25-17, 25-20 defeat at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Volleyball Court.

In the second game played, Federal University of Technology Owerri defeated Alex Ekwueme Federal University 3-2 of 25-18, 22-25, 25-19, 21-25 and 16-14.

In the tension soaked match, last minute slip of the AE-FUNAI team saw FUTO smiling to victory.

Tomorrow will witness three matches, two in the morning and one in the evening.

University of Nigeria Nsukka will play against Enugu State University of Technology while Federal University of Technology Owerri will play against Imo State University in the male category.

The evening event will feature Female teams of  Enugu State University of Technology and Nnamdi Azikiwe University.
