UNIZIK Student Centre Project Manager Promises To Deliver The Best

The Project Manager midwifing the construction of the ongoing ASR Africa Student Centre at Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Anambra State has hinted that the building project when completed will be one of the best Student Centres seen in any institution in Nigeria.

The Project Manager of the Student Centre and top official of the Bilijoe + Berger Nig. Ltd stated this on Tuesday, 25th July 2023 in an interview with reporters during the occasion of the ground breaking ceremony and tour of the construction site by the University Management led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Charles Esimone and top brass of the Abdul Samad Rabiu Initiative (ASR) Africa.

Engr. Owadokun disclosed that the ASR Africa Students Centre would be made up of modern facilities such as ICT Centre, Offices, Restaurant, Gym Hall, Minimart, Basketball and other facilities all domiciled in the centre as well as a suspended Auditorium like an Amphitheatre which is what makes it unique from other Student Centres.

Engr. Owadokun further informed that work had earlier commenced in the year on February 13th after the site was handed over to them on January 26th of this year.

He stated that baring any unforeseen circumstances, the ASR Africa Students’ Centre will be ready and handed over to the University Management by February 24th 2024 as they are working according to the schedule.

The Project Manager revealed that upon completion, the ASR Africa Student Centre will serve various purposes all geared towards making the students’ stay in the institution a memorable one and enhancing the aim of their academic pursuit at UNIZIK.

He thanked ASR Africa for endowing such a huge project for the students of UNIZIK and eulogized them for the opportunity to undertake the construction work, he also emphasized that his construction firm is committed towards delivering quality construction services in the course of building a world class Students Centre at UNIZIK.
