AIG Rudolf Echebi, CP Adeoye, Other  Senior Officers Arrive Anambra For 18th March Election

AIG Rudolf Obe Echebi  has assumed duty as AIG Election for Anambra and Enugu State Commands which make up Zone 13 with Headquarters at Ukpo Dunukofia LGA of Anambra State.

According to press release by the state Police Public Relations Officer Mr Tochukwu Ikenga, the AIG arrived on Thursday, 16th March 2023 and was received by senior officers at the Zonal Headquarters in Ukpo.

He has also visited the Headquarters of Anambra State Police Command where he reviewed security arrangements for State House of Assembly Election scheduled for Saturday. He has proceeded to Enugu State Command in continuation of his assignment.

The Commissioner of Police (Election) for Anambra State briefed the AIG on programmes lined up to carry all stakeholders along to ensure peace especially after the election.

Other senior officers deployed to Anambra Command for this national Assignment include DCP Johnson Adenola – Anambra South; DCP Polycarp Emeka – Anambra Central and DCP Yusuf Ajape – Anambra North Senatorial Dristricts respectively.

In a related development Anambra State Police Command has taken delivery of a truckload of of anti riot equipment and materials procured by the Inspector General of Police for maintenance of law and order in the State.
