Nasarawa United FC Mourns Former Supporters’ Club Chairman, Jamilu Mohammed

The Lafia based Nasarawa United is in a mourning mood following the death of the former supporters club chairman, Alhaji Jamilu Mohammed.

According to a letter signed by the club’s chairman, Barr. Isaac Danladi, Alhaji Mohammed died in an auto crash on Tuesday, 19th July, 2022 along Akwanga-Lafia express Road.

The letter read “Management, players and Staff of Nasarawa United FC, I Barr. Isaac Danladi, Chairman Nasarawa United FC wish to express our deepest condolences over the Sudden demise of Jamilu Mohammed Yakubu, former Chairman of the team’s Supporters’ Club, who died in an auto crash, on Tuesday, 19th July, 2022, along Akwanga-Lafia express Road”,

“I join other heartbroken sons and daughters of Nasarawa State to mourn his devastating exit and pay tribute to his numerous contributions to the Club and State in general”,

“The late Jamilu will be remembered and acknowledged for his commitment, dedication, pious spirit, humility and purposeful lifestyle”,

“Jamilu Mohammed gave his all for the prosperity and success of Nasarawa United FC when he was Chairman of the Supporters’ Club, over a decade ago”,

“We share our thoughts and prayers with Governor Abdullahi Sule whom the late Jamilu Mohammed was Personal Assistant to(on Power), the Government of Nasarawa State, the good people of Nasarawa State, and the deceased family during this difficult period”,

“We hope God gives you the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss, and grant the deceased Aljanna Firdausi”, he prayed.
