Anambra Internal Revenue Service Takes Biometric Registration Exercise To Nnewi, Awka, others

The Anambra State Internal Revenue Service (AiRS) has continued it’s biometric enumeration and registration exercise across the state.

According to the Press Release made available by the Head, Taxpayer Education and Enlightenment , Mrs Sylvia Ngige , commercial transport operators who are yet to participate in the exercise will have the opportunity as the team will move over to Nnewi, Ihiala, Awka and Nkpor.

“The Anambra State Internal Revenue Service (AiRS) wishes to inform Ndi Anambra that the ongoing mega biometric enumeration and registration exercise for commercial transport operators who are yet to participate in the exercise will take place at Nnewi, Ihiala and Nkpor”.

“Every commercial Transport operator yet to register should go to the venues to enrol. National Identification Number (NIN) registration centre will be available at the venues”.
The exercise at the designated centers will begin on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, to Saturday, July 23, 2022 from 9.00am to 4.00pm daily.

AWKA
VENUE: Alex Ekwueme Square, Awka.

NNEWI:
VENUES: 1. St. Mary’s Pro-Cathedral Church, Nnewi
2. St. Michaels Catholic Church, Nnewi
3. Nnewi Youth League Hall

IHIALA:
VENUES: 1. Ihiala Motor Park
2. St. Martin’s Odata field
3. Local Government Secretariat
4. Nkwo Okija Motor Park
5. Uli Centre Motor Park.

NKPOR:
VENUE:
Nkpor Central Park.
