A former Rangers and Super Eagles’ player Totty Okoro Totty has died in the US.
The news was broken by Yemi Ojo, a Nigerian journalist in the US Friday evening.
Totty Okoro also played for Nigerian clubs such as BBC Lions of Gboko and the defunct Sharks of Port Harcourt.
He had his solitary international cap when he got in as a substitute for Austin Eguavon during Italia ‘90 World Cup qualifying match against Gabon in Libreville on 25 June 1989.
He reportedly passed away on Thursday afternoon at Atlanta-Georgia USA after a long battle with colon cancer.
The funeral arrangements are being made.
