Zik Lecture Series Portrays Ingenuity And Legacies Of Great Zik —– Prof Esimone

The Zik lecture series has been described as an event aimed at immortalizing the name of Dr. Nnamdi Azikiwe and the quest for the emancipation of the black race.

The Vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Prof. Charles Esimone stated this in his welcome address at the 11th edition of the program holding at the ASUU secretariat, Nnamdi Azikiwe University.

Prof. Esimone while addressing the guest commended the organizers of the 11th edition of the lecture series for pulling through the huge logistics to organize the event soon After the suspension of the 8months strike.

Prof. Esimone also welcomed the chairman of the event, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa, the guests of honour present, the royal father’s and other dignitaries at the event.

He greatly commended the benefactor of the event, Dr. Ben Ndi Obi who at one of the events pledged to institute in the university, An institute of legislative studies.

This institute he said is aimed at furthering the capacity of good governance in the country.

Prof. Esimone noted that through the senators intermediation, the construction of a legislative building complex was commenced in the institution.
