All communities within the Anambra Central senatorial district have been assured of at one major project/program annually from the national budget proposal.
This cheering and soul-lifting news was dropped this afternoon by Chief Dozie Nwankwo, the senatorial candidate of the ruling All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in a tactical meeting with key Stakeholders of Anambra Central zone.
Nwankwo told the chieftains that current political season has gone beyond running round community halls and village squares dropping wild unfathomable promises without any plans for their fulfillment, by garrulous politicians and candidates.
That his focus was on achievable things, that while going to the National Assembly to drink from the cup of bridges of friendships he built earlier, he would reinforce the bonds.
He would invest the friendly act of give-and-take to get full support and backing of his colleagues at the Senate to get virtually all his projects approved and executed.
According to him, communities, groups, and professional bodies would henceforth articulate and present all their needs to his office. The request would be the charter of demand that he would take to the Senate chamber once elected.
The meeting held at his campaign headquarters in Enugwu-ukwu, Njikoka Council Area was led by a University don, Prof Onyi Oguno.
Nwankwo, stated that his Constituency office was open round -the-clock daily for the interest of the people. That representatives of the communities should articulate and submit their needs in a very organized manner.
That all their needs must cut across board, gender, ages and educational backgrounds.
That he wants to carry everyone along and give all a great sense of belong.
Onyendozi urged them to take the message back home to age grades, social circles, churches, schools, gender-based and professional groups, etc. That all these groups should be reminded to focus on the candidate’s messages, and believability of the messages.
That he had in the past brought a lot of palliatives and life-enhancing materials including free annual medical outreach, youth/women empowerment, and scholarship.
He also distributed commuter buses, Okada motorcycles, cars, sowing machines, barbing and hair dressing kits/equipment. Also he has made distribution of these and many others look like a normal annual program, etc.
He therefore charged the stakeholders to urge and convince all voters within the Anambra Central senatorial district to vote massively for him so as to continue to benefit from his benevolence for the next four years non-stop.
It was also learnt that he would organize a very powerful poverty alleviation for year 2026 soon.
