In the wake of a resounding victory at the Broadcasting Organisations of Nigeria (BON) biennial election, the atmosphere within M4STV has been one of gratitude, pride, and renewed purpose.

The management of the fast-rising digital media and lifestyle platform has publicly expressed deep appreciation to delegates, industry colleagues, and supporters who rallied behind its Chairman, Chief Tony Akiotu, during the closely watched election held in Abuja on April 8, 2026.

Akiotu’s emergence as BON Chairman was not just decisive, it was emphatic.

Polling 62 votes against Chief Raymond Dokpesi Jr.’s 9, his victory signaled a strong endorsement of his leadership credentials and vision for the future of Nigeria’s broadcasting landscape.

In a statement released shortly after the announcement, M4STV management described the support as overwhelming and deeply humbling.

The organization noted that the outcome of the election reflects the immense respect and confidence Akiotu commands, both within the media industry and beyond.

“The confidence and trust placed in Chief Akiotu will be honored with purposeful leadership, integrity, and results,” the statement read.

The management of M4STV assuring stakeholders that their faith would translate into tangible progress and stronger unity within BON.

Beyond the celebrations, there is a clear sense of responsibility. M4STV emphasized that Akiotu’s leadership will steer BON toward greater innovation and collaboration, reinforcing its role as the unified voice of Nigerian broadcasters in a rapidly evolving media environment.

Tony Akiotu currently serves as the Chairman/CEO of M4STV Communications Ltd.

The platform has distinguished itself as a dynamic broadcast and digital streaming hub, seamlessly integrating traditional linear television with cutting-edge OTT services.

M4STV has also become the go-to station for live Nigeria Professional Football League matches and coverage involving the national teams, underscoring Akiotu’s enduring influence in sports broadcasting.

The platform also reaffirmed its own commitment to excellence, continuing to deliver high-quality content across:
