Sporting Supreme FC of Abuja are Champions of the Nigeria Youth League Cup with a 2-0 victory over tournament favorites Grassrunners FC at Eket Township Stadium.

Grassrunners entered the final with a flawless group-stage record. They recorded dominant wins over Darazo FC, Sunshine Stars, and Right2Win.

Sporting Supreme weathered early pressure. Head Coach Usman Bello and Assistant Coach Eze Jude organized a disciplined low block that frustrated Grassrunners’ high press from the opening whistle.

The breakthrough came on a fast counter-attack. Sporting Supreme exploited space in midfield and broke the deadlock with a composed finish from close range.

The “Supreme Boys, Top Quality” maintained their tactical discipline in the second half. As Grassrunners pushed forward for an equalizer, Sporting Supreme struck again on another transition to seal the title.
