The Nigeria National League Club Owners and Managers Association (NALCOMA) have commended the Nigeria National League (NNL) clubs that made it into the Round of 32 of the ongoing 2025 President Federation Cup.

NALCOMA President, Godwin Enakhena made the remarks on Thursday, 20th March, 2025 in a chat with sports journalists.

The NALCOMA boss disclosed that fifteen clubs playing in the ongoing 2024/25 NNL season made it into the Round of 32 of the 2025 President Federation Cup describing these improved performances of the teams playing in second tier of Nigerian Club football as a welcome development for football growth in the country.

Mr Enakhena stated that he foresees an NNL club winning the 2025 edition of the oldest football competition in the land replicating the feat of El Kanemi in last year’s edition were they outwitted Abia Warriors in the grand finale played in Lagos to claim the trophy.

The top football administrator while charging the teams to continue making the NNL proud, thanked the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) for putting in place measures that will ensure smooth running of the competition which serves as a platform for the winner to represent Nigeria on the continent through the CAF Confederations Cup.

The 15 NNL clubs in the President Federation Cup Round of 32 are Basira FC, Crown FC, Warri Wolves, Gombe United, Solution FC, Osun United, Beyond Limits and Inter Lagos.

Others are Wikki Tourists, Adamawa United, Ijele FC, Abakaliki United, Zamfara United, Rovers of Calabar and Mighty Jets.
