Rangers, Coal City, Achievers FC Thumb Up Ifeanyi Ekwueme Tico/Select Tournament

Coaches of participating teams at the on going Ifeanyi Ekwueme Tico/Select Preseason Tournament have thumbed up the sponsor and organizers of the event holding in Abakaliki.

Speaking to Newspathfinder, Assistant Coach of Rangers, Benedict Ugwu commended the sponsor for bringing such opportunity for club sides describing it as a good preparatory ground as the league beckons.

“The tournament is a very good one with quality impact on our players as it provides them match fitness. I commend the organizers for taking time to up the tournament which provides clubs opportunity to prepare for the big task of the season”.

Also speaking, the coach of Coal City FC, Starplus Anistar was all praises for the sponsor, Ifeanyi Ekwueme for being consistent with the tournament which is in the sixth edition.

He described the organization of the 2024 edition as the best. ” I commend Ekwueme for being consistent with this wonderful project. His year’s edition organization is top notch from all we’ve seen”,

“I was in Uyo last year,.it was good but the improvement this year is gladdening. I believe as we progress, the competition will keep going higher”.

For the coach of Achievers FC, the organization of 2024 edition of Ifeanyi Ekwueme Tico/Select Preseason Tournament scores 90/100 in all ramifications.

“They are doing a good job organizing such a high profile competition. I commend the sponsor who is consistent with the project helping teams prepare for the season”.

The 6th Ifeanyi Ekwueme Tico/Select Preseason Tournament will climax on Saturday. Ten teams participated in this edition with five teams from the NPFL and five from the lower leagues.
