Nigeria’s number one stadium facilities construction expert, Ebi Egbe is on cloud nine over the approval given by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for Enyimba and Remo Stars to play at home in the continent.
Egbe whose outfit, Monimichelle constructed both the Enyimba and Remo Stars playing turfs said CAF’s nod is a clear testimony that his company is doing a good job that meets international standard.
“I m happy the Enyimba stadium turf, Aba and that of Remo Stars in Ikenne have passed CAF test. It clearly shows that what we (Monimichelle) are doing is remarkably different from what our competitors are offering. We construct pitches that are of international standard. We don’t compromise quality in our job,” Egbe stated.
The Bayelsa born soccer buff said he is confident Enyimba and Remo would do well in the continent even as he insisted that his company would continue to pursue its mission of eradicating bad pitches not only in the country but the whole of Africa.
It would be noted that Egbe who is a certified and chartered groundsman has been invited by the organizers of an African football summit in Kenya to deliver a paper later this year.
