Aftermath of the vicious killing of 17 Nigerian soldiers last Thursday in Okuama, Delta state, Service chiefs, on Wednesday, appeared before the Senate Joint Committee comprising Army, Navy, Defence and Airforce committees over the investigation

Recall that some military personnel who were on a peacekeeping mission in the state were last Thursday ambushed and murdered in Okuama community in the Ughelli South Local Government Area.

Given the sensitivity of the matter, the Chairman of the joint committee, Ahmed Lawan, disclosed that the investigative hearing will be held behind closed doors.
