Enyimba Shifts Focus To Katsina Game After Plateau Loss

Still disappointed with the result in Jos against Plateau United, Enyimba FC have since shifted attention to their rescheduled NPFL encounter against Katsina United.

Enyimba who is currently camped in Abuja in preparation ahead of the rescheduled NPFL match day 12 encounter this Wednesday in Katsina are hoping to get a positive result in other to consolidate on their position and the distance between them and the top three on the league.

Speaking to Enyimba media shortly after their morning training session at the Goal Project pitch in Abuja Desmond Ojietefian and Coach Olarenwaju Yemi said they will be going all out for victory in Katsina come Wednesday.

“We are not happy after a good game but unfortunately we couldn’t come out with something so we want to change it in Katsina, we will go for the maximum points.

“When you coach or you work at Enyimba the only thing that is expected is winning so we will go all out against Katsina United to make our fans happy”, Coach Yemi stated.

“We had a very good training session this morning at the FIFA Goal Project and we are going out to Katsina with all our heart.

“It’s nothing other than victory, we know all our fans are counting on us and we are going for the three points”, Ojietefian promised.

The people’s Elephant have met with Katsina United on 11 occasions with both sides having 5 wins and a draw.

The encounter which was earlier scheduled for December 6, 2023 will now hold on Wednesday January 17, 2024 in Katsina by 4pm.
