The Anambra State government have concluded a two-day retreat focused on reviewing the administration’s mid-term performance and planning for the future.

The event which held at the International Convention Center in Awka, brought together representatives from all levels of the executive arm, including ministeries, local government, and heads of agencies.

Addressing the media, Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, stressed the importance of reflecting on the administration’s goals, progress made, challenges encountered, as well as the future plans.

“We’ve been engaged in deep discussions about where we are, how far we’ve come, and the road ahead in fulfilling our commitment to the people of Anambra;” the Governor said.

Governor Soludo expressed confidence in the overall progress made, saying; “we are definitely on course in delivering and laying a solid foundation for a liveable and prosperous smart-mega city that our people will be proud of.”

He described year 2024 as crucial for execution, declaring, “this year is a year for full execution! We are completely focused on delivering maximum benefits for ndi Anambra.”

The retreat served as a strategic pause for the Anambra government to assess its accomplishments, identify areas for improvement, and solidify its plans for the remaining term.

By prioritizing execution and focusing on tangible results, Governor Soludo aims to fulfill the promises made to the people of Anambra and build a brighter future for the state.
