Organisers of the grassroots boxing showcase, Street Rumble, have announced Brila Media as the Official Media Partner for the second season of the event.
The event, promoted by Match Maker Sports International, is scheduled to hold on December 13, 2026, at the Maracana Square, Ajegunle, Lagos.
This follows the successful debut edition in April, with Season 2 set to build on that momentum with a bigger vision of showcasing Nigeria’s emerging boxing talents and providing a platform for the next generation of champions.

As Official Media Partner, Brila Media will drive media coverage, interviews, promotional content and storytelling around the fighters and the movement, taking the Street Rumble to a wider audience.
Season 2 will also feature a special international appearance by American boxing legend, 1988 Olympic Gold Medalist and former WBO World Heavyweight Champion, Ray ‘Merciless’ Mercer, as a ringside guest.
His presence is expected to add global appeal to the community-driven event focused on grassroots boxing development in Nigeria.
Chief Executive Officer of Match Maker Sports International, Mike Adeyemo, said the partnership marks a major step for the project.

“We are excited to officially welcome Brila Media as the Official Media Partner of The Street Rumble Season 2. Brila Media has a strong presence in Nigerian sports media, and this partnership will help us take the Street Rumble story to an even larger audience. Our mission is to give young fighters a platform, promote grassroots boxing, and build a movement that can create opportunities for the next generation,” Adeyemo said.
He noted that the collaboration will help expand the reach of Street Rumble and shine more spotlight on talents emerging from Nigeria’s grassroots boxing communities.
Organisers said further announcements on the fight card, ticketing, broadcast coverage, participating fighters and other special guests will be made through the official channels of The Street Rumble and Match Maker Sports International.
