2027: My Door Will Remain Open To All, Ezeike Promises Anambra South

By Chikaodi Chukwuleta

A leading candidate for Anambra South Senatorial District, Bishop Chukwuma Tagbo Ezeike, has promised to run an open-door leadership where his house and gate will remain open to constituents.

Ezeike, who is contesting on the platform of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM), gave the assurance during an interactive session with Party stakeholders in Awka.

He said true representation is being accessible to the people at all times.

“My leadership will be different. My door and my gate will be open. Anybody from Anambra South can walk in and tell me their problems,” he said.

The senatorial hopeful expressed worry over the security challenges in Ihiala, noting that hunger and lack of meaningful engagement are pushing many youths into crime.

“Hunger makes people engage in crime. But when you equip them, they will engage in meaningful things. Our job is to give our youths something meaningful to do,” he stated.

Ezeike assured that his empowerment programmes will focus on practical skills and sustainable livelihoods to restore peace and hope, especially in Ihiala and other parts of Anambra South.

Community leaders at the meeting commended his accessibility and humility, describing his approach as the kind of leadership the district needs.
