Best Talent FC of Mowe will travel to Abeokuta as visitors when they face Yewa FC in a crucial Matchday 6 clash of the Nationwide League One 2026 season. The fixture is set for Sunday, May 24, 2026, at the MKO Abiola Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The highly anticipated clash is expected to be another mouth watering games considering the antecedents of the two sides.

This encounter carries significant weight for both sides as the season approaches its decisive phase. For the Best Talent FC, the fixture represents a vital opportunity to boost their leadership drive, as they currently sit on top of the league table with 13 points after Match Day 5 and are battling to cement their leadership spot. Meanwhile, Yewa Academy played a match less and still occupy 2nd position on the log with 10 points and will be aiming to strengthen their push for a table topping status against the visitors

Best Talent head into the game on the back of a hard-fought 2-0 win over M&N FC with Mathew netting a brace for Adeyinka Adeyemo’s boys. Yewa Academy,on the other hand, come into the tie with fresh minds following a league hiatus enjoyed in Match Day 5 fixtures.

The superlative administrative arrangements put in place by the organisers of the Nationwide League have been widely commended by the stakeholders as the members of the Nigeria Football Referees Association in Ogun state have made impeccable performance in the league.

Team news indicates that Coach Farouk Yusuf led team will be without 2 influential forwards, no thanks to injury sustained during training on Saturday. Their absence will be notable, given their league-leading goals and assists made this season.

With pride, points, and season-defining ambitions at stake, fans can expect a fiercely contested clash this Sunday as all roads will lead to the MKO Abiola Stadium today by 4pm
