Anambra citizens would experience a total turnaround and new positive lease of life when the Anambra State All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship candidate, Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu mounts the saddle vide the coming Nov 8,2025 poll in the State.

Addressing a crowd of supporters, members and friends of the party late afternoon Sunday, at the Ezi Ichie Hall, Umudioka Awka.

Ukachukwu vowed on his honour that he was committed to arresting the insecurity currently ravaging the State, within the first three months of his administration.

The candidate noted that his victory on Nov 8 election would usher in the most remarkable phase of development and transformation that will redefine the state’s economy and infrastructure witnessed in the State.

He confidently assured that he along with his running mate, Senator Uche Ekwunife come to fix and salvage Anambra from the present pervading maladministration, lethargy and poor setup

The enthusiastic crowd declared that the APC government under Ukachukwu leadership would usher in a new era of progress never witnessed before I in Anambra.

According to him, “Our state is destined for greatness, we have endured too many lies and deceptions. It’s time to choose prosperity, truth, and purposeful leadership. Together, we will build an Anambra that works for everyone.”

Prince Ukachukwu lamented that the current administration has failed to meet the expectations of citizens which allowed insecurity to close down active businesses.

He noted that his twelve manufacturing factories were forced to close down because most of the expatriate workers were repeatedly kidnapped. The last experience was heartbreaking when huge ransom was paid to secure their rescue and freedom. These foreigners left immediately after that.

Ukachukwu noted that the state’s abundant potential remains untapped due to poor governance, insecurity and misplaced priorities. He assured the people that the APC would bring in a new dawn anchored on visionary planning, accountability, and the fear of God.

He said, “Anambra deserves better,” he said firmly. “We will transform Awka into a modern capital that truly reflects the pride and strength of our people. Under my watch, there will be stable electricity through the construction of a 250-megawatt power plant and a functional water system that delivers clean portable water to every home. This is not a dream; it is a promise we are ready to fulfill.”

He promised a new political culture built on freedom, equity, and justice. He assured Ndi Anambra that under an APC-led administration, intimidation and political suppression would have no place.

“Every citizen will have the right to vote their conscience without fear or coercion,” he declared. “We will respect traditional rulers, Presidents-General, and community leaders. The rule of law will guide our every action, and under our leadership, democracy will thrive in truth and fairness.”

“Your votes, prayers, and support will make it happen. With APC, we can move our beloved state toward prosperity and dignity once again.”

He promised the traditional rulers and presidents general new lease of life and liberty, unlike the current situation where they were under constant threat and fears of removal.

Chief Amobi Nwokafor, a key stakeholder described Ukachukwu and his running mate, Senator Uche Ekwunife as “reputed performers and will deliver.”

He described the duty now as “mission to the centre”, reiterating that Anambra remain the key heartland of Igboland. That since Imo, Ebonyi and Enugu are already connected to the centre, Anambra cannot afford to be left behind.
