The Anambra State Commissioner for Information, Dr Law Mefor, recently hosted the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) stakeholders in Abatete.
The event, which was part of efforts to ensure the re-election of Governor Chukwuma Soludo during the November 8th gubernatorial election, featured the inauguration of Abatete community’s campaign council.

Speaking at the event, Commissioner Mefor highlighted the achievements of Governor Soludo in the area of health, education and human capital development, among others, from which Abatete has benefited.
According to him, Ndi Anambra can testify that Mr Governor has performed well enough to deserve re-election.

In his remarks, the Mayor of Idemili North Local Government Area, Chief Stanley Nkwoka, disclosed that Idemili North is fully APGA and that other political parties like the All Progressives Congress (APC), the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and others have joined efforts with APGA in the area to ensure the Governor’s re-election.
The Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Small, Medium and Micro Enterprises, Chief Ifeanyi Metuh, and an Abatete stakeholder, Sir Lawrence Okoye, said the local government was well prepared and has kept strategising on how best to deliver the Governor come November 8th, in appreciation for his good works.

The Campaign Council Committee Chairman for Idemili North, Chief Obi Idemobi, and another stakeholder, Chief Okey Muu Aroh, emphasised that every well-meaning ‘onye’ Anambra is poised to support the Governor.
They urged the governor to ensure full manifestation of his people’s manifesto in his second tenure.
