Ikukuoma Pledges To Fix Anambra, Harness Omasi Gas For Cheap Energy

The favorite candidate in the fast approaching November 8,2025 Governorship election,
Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has emphasized on his commitment to restoring security and confidence of the citizens in good governance once he’s elected on Nov 8, 2025.

Ukachukwu, fondly called Ikukuoma who addressed a cross section of supporters, electorates and well-wishers at St Albert The Great Catholic parish Obosi early afternoon today, Sunday said it’s time for action, no more rhetorics so as to salvage the state.

He that we have seen where empty promises have landed landed the State.

Ukachukwu emphasised that his mission to govern is to “fix the awesome dilapidation Anambra has suffered, so that things can work again.”

He noted that his vision was hinged principally on results and performance, and not rhetorical empty words that usually amount to nothibj“We shall no longer dwell on empty promises. Our work will speak for us,” he said to a cheering congregation.

He expressed gratitude for the warm reception from the parishioners, members of the Sustenance of Faith in Good Governance (SOFIG) and extended heartfelt appreciation to the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Augustine Obiosa, whom he described as “a vessel of God’s grace and truth.”

Fr. Obiosa prayed for Ukachukwu’s success, declaring that God would answer his prayers and that he would one day return to the church as Governor to give thanks. “Anambra must move forward,” he added, urging parishioners to support Ukachukwu’s vision for a new, functional state built on integrity and service.

Ukachukwu promised to roof the ongoing church project as part of his personal contribution to their ongoing development efforts.

Ikukuoma vowed to convert the Omasi, Ayamelum Council area massive Natural gas deposit to the benefit all Anambra citizens.

He noted that the deliverable energy supply therefrom will benefit all parts of the state and Nigeria.

He said that when the state builds the gas plant, it will make life better for each Anambra State household.
It will also reduce the cost electricity tarrif.

The gas, Ukachukwu added will be sold at very low rate to low income earners first. Then what remain is would then be sold to the rich.

On the widespread prolonged tension pervading markets leaderships in the State, he disclosed that the traders must be the ones to elect their leadership. That external interference from the government or anyone.

He said, “My Government will only witness the process.

“The leadership will include natives and non natives. I will pursue inclusive leadership in all aspects of governance.
