Enyimba FC’s Technical Adviser, Stanley Eguma, has expressed optimism about his team’s chances in tomorrow’s NPFL MatchDay5 match against Bendel Insurance, stating that they are ready for the big game.

Coach Eguma acknowledged the challenges of consolidating their position in the league table, but emphasized that the team is determined to secure a win.

“I think we are ready for tomorrow’s game. The game is a big match. Insurance of Benin and Enyimba are traditional teams that have represented the country at international competitions”,

“So far we are trying to see how far we can consolidate our position in the log. Because I know it is not easy getting to the top spot. Every team is working on their team to get that stabilisation”,

“The fact that we have too many new players in the team makes it a little difficult but for tomorrow’s game, we are ready, boys are in high spirits And having come from a very good outing in their last game against Bayelsa, we are very optimistic that tomorrow’s game will be an interesting game.

“We are not trying to underrate Insurance; they are a very good team and one of the strongest in the league. We need over one hundred percent performance for us to achieve a successful outing and I think we are in for it”, coach Eguma said

Stand-in captain Ufere Chinedu echoed Eguma’s sentiments, describing the match as a crucial test for the team after last season’s drop. Chinedu emphasized that the team has worked tirelessly to improve and is confident in their ability to secure a win.

“This game is more than a match for us; it’s an opportunity to maintain our unbeaten run and solidify our position on the log. We are going all out for our three points because we can’t afford to drop any other points at home”, Chinedu said.

The Enyimba FC duo expressed gratitude to the management for their support and motivation, which they believe will drive the team to deliver an outstanding performance.
