ANSEC has stated that no new projects will be initiated for the sake of the election season, as was the custom in the past. The council emphasized that new projects will continue to be awarded based on their strategic and economic significance, and on the areas with the highest needs.
The government has also reaffirmed its pledge not to owe state contractors, which has been the prevailing principle since Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo took office. This commitment is expected to boost the confidence of contractors and improve the state’s infrastructure development.
The approved projects are expected to improve the lives of Anambra State citizens, boost the state’s infrastructure, and attract investments to the state.
