Anambra State Commissioner of Police, CP Ikioye Orutugu, hosted officers from the Public Complaints Commission (PCC) at the Command Headquarters in Awka on July 31, 2025.

The meeting aimed to strengthen Police-Public relations and foster synergy between law enforcement and oversight bodies.

During the meeting, CP Orutugu emphasized the importance of accountability and professionalism in policing, assuring the PCC of the Command’s commitment to transparency and citizen-centric service delivery.

The PCC Commissioner, Mr. Emmanuel Muoka, pledged the Commission’s readiness to collaborate with the Police to address complaints promptly and fairly.

The visit is part of an initiative to promote institutional collaboration, transparency, and effective complaint redress mechanisms.

CP Orutugu reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to building trust, justice, and community safety in Anambra State.

According to Police Spokesperson SP Tochukwu Ikenga, the meeting underscores the Command’s dedication to inclusive and responsive policing structures.
