Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu, the APC governorship candidate for Anambra State, has expressed concern over the insecurity in the state, questioning the decision of APGA to field a candidate in the upcoming bye-elections for a lawmaker murdered due to insecurity.

Ukachukwu wondered how APGA could field a candidate to replace Hon Justice Azuka, who died due to the government’s inability to provide security suggesting that the party prioritizes politics over people’s security.

The APC candidate emphasized that security is paramount and vowed to use various methods to safeguard the people of Anambra State if elected.

He criticized APGA’s seeming lack of concern for the people who have died due to insecurity, stating that politics should not take precedence over citizens’ lives.

Ukachukwu highlighted his personal stake in Anambra’s development, mentioning that he established 12 companies in the state that are not functioning due to insecurity and the departure of experts.

He expressed determination to address the state’s challenges and promote development.
