Christians have been enjoined to plug into God’s Unrelenting love and express same amongst themselves
He gave the advice during sermon delivered at the thanksgiving service in honor of Mrs. Ngozi Moneke’s 70th birthday held at the Sait Faith Cathedral, Awka on Sunday 27th July, 2025.
Rev. Nzeakor emphasized the theme of God’s Unrelenting Love for His own. Citing Genesis 50:19-20, Rev. Nzeakor highlighted the unwavering nature of God’s love, stressing that it is not based on human righteousness but on God’s power.
Rev. Nzeakor described God’s love as unconditional, uncompromising, and unending, referencing the sacrifice of His only son to redeem mankind.
The clergyman noted that even when humans choose wrong paths, God’s love remains unchanged, expressing love to those who love Him, even in their unrighteousness.
To become God’s own, Rev. Nzeakor emphasized the importance of choosing and believing in Jesus Christ, surrendering, yielding, and making Him a personal savior.
Rev. Nzeakor used the example of Joseph forgiving his brothers despite their betrayal to illustrate the expectation of Christians to demonstrate God’s love through forgiveness and mercy. He charged Christians to plug into God’s Unrelenting Love.
The service included the unveiling of the Harvest Committee, theme, hymn, and fixture.
The family of Mrs. Ngozi Moneke expressed gratitude to God for His mercies upon her life and family.
Mrs. Moneke thanked God for reaching her 70th birthday and appreciated all who attended the thanksgiving
The thanksgiving service was a celebration of life, faith, and God’s enduring love, inspiring attendees to deepen their relationship with God and live out His love in their lives.
Friends and wellwishers were later entertained at the Emmaus House Awka.
