Heartland FC Set For Ifeanyi Ekwueme Tico/Select Preseason Tournament

Heartland FC’s Technical Manager, Emmanuel Amuneke, has expressed the team’s readiness for the 7th edition of the Ifeanyi Ekwueme Tico/Select Preseason Tournament.

During a courtesy visit by the tournament organizers, led by ex-international Ifeanyi Ekwueme, Amuneke praised Ekwueme’s dedication to Nigerian football, highlighting the tournament’s growth and legacy.

He said Heartland FC is prepared to participate in the tournament which is set to feature top-tier Nigerian clubs.The team’s readiness is a result of Amuneke’s meticulous preparation and leadership, which has seen the team through various challenges in the past.

Amuneke expressed his appreciation for Ifeanyi Ekwueme’s efforts in promoting Nigerian football, stating that the tournament has brought the sport closer to the people, “Ifeanyi’s commitment to Nigerian football is truly inspiring,”

The 7th edition of the Ifeanyi Ekwueme Tico/Select Preseason Tournament will take place from August 2nd to August 9th, providing a vital platform for teams to prepare for the new season and showcase their talents.

As the stage is set for an exciting tournament, Amuneke concluded, “We’re geared up and ready to give it our all, and we appreciate Ifeanyi’s efforts in bringing Nigerian football closer to the people.”
